Disposal in Slovenia
From 12 August 2028 – or 24 months after the entry into force of the relevant implementing acts of the European Commission, whichever is later – a uniform, harmonised EU label for packaging will be introduced under Article 12 of Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR). Until then, the national disposal routes described above continue to apply.
The disposal routes mentioned are based on current Slovenian legislation (Decree on the Management of Packaging Waste) and standard municipal practice, as of August 2026. Bin colours and the responsible packaging organisation may vary between individual municipalities and service providers. For binding information, please contact your local municipality or authorised waste collector.
