Disposal in Estonia
The waste management methods stated are based on current regulations in Estonia (Waste Act, requirements for separate collection of municipal waste) and general local practice, as of August 2026. The specific allocation to containers and collection systems may vary depending on the local municipality. For binding information, please contact your local municipal waste management provider.
From 12 August 2028 – or 24 months after the entry into force of the European Commission’s related implementing acts, whichever date is later – a uniform, EU-wide harmonised packaging labelling system will be introduced pursuant to Article 12 of Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR). Until then, the national waste management methods described above remain applicable.

B2B / Commercial delivery
Authorised waste management provider. Businesses must dispose of larger wooden crates and pallets separately through an authorised waste management provider, not via the local waste station.

B2C / End customer
Waste station. As a private customer, take the wooden crate to the local waste station; it does not belong with mixed municipal waste.
