Disposal in Cyprus
The waste management methods referred to are based on the framework currently in force in Cyprus (Green Dot Cyprus as the sole Collective System) and standard local practice, as of August 2026. The exact collection method (door-to-door or bins) may vary by municipality/community. For binding information, please contact Green Dot Cyprus or your relevant municipality.
From 12 August 2028 – or 24 months after the entry into force of the European Commission’s related implementing acts, whichever date is later – a uniform, EU-wide harmonised packaging labelling system will be introduced pursuant to Article 12 of Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR). Until then, the national waste management methods mentioned above remain applicable.

B2B / Commercial delivery
Licensed waste management operator. Businesses must dispose of larger wooden crates and pallets separately through a licensed waste management operator, not via the municipal Green Point.

Green Point (municipal collection site). As a private individual, take the wooden crate to the nearest Green Point; it does not belong with household waste.
